Ribbon-cutting held at Sportsman’s Breezeway

The City of Moultrie held a ribbon-cutting this afternoon at the Sportsman’s Breezeway. This location has housed many businesses, including a bicycle shop, a snack and cobbler shop, the Colquitt Cafe, the Sportsman Restaurant, and most recently, storage for Blue Sky Grill.

Fast forward to 2017, and the property was declining.  Planning for Downtown’s future, the property was purchased by Downtown Moultrie Tomorrow, Inc. and then donated to the City of Moultrie for refurbishment. Significant renovations have been made to the property with funding from the Georgia Department of Community Affairs and Downtown Moultrie Tomorrow, Inc. The space is now a beautiful area available for the community to enjoy.
