Downtown Moultrie’s Collectible Christmas Ornament Now Available!

The holidays are officially here in Downtown Moultrie, and you know what that means: it’s time for the newest collectible Christmas ornament! This year’s design is truly special, and we are so excited to announce that the ornaments are ready for sale at several of our local downtown businesses!

This year’s collectible Christmas ornament features a beautiful design of the Colquitt County Courthouse covered in a serene blanket of snow.

Meet the Artist!

We are especially proud to introduce the talented artist behind this year’s design, Kolby DeMott!

The 23-year-old was raised right here in Colquitt County and won a competition earlier this year to have their artwork featured on the ornament.

When asked what it means to be the featured artist, Kolby shared this wonderful sentiment:”All of the submissions in the competition were truly beautiful, and seeing how many people voted for my design and shared such kind words about my work has made me incredibly happy. It’s an honor to feel like I’m adding a small mark to such a special tradition and contributing to its history.”

Kolby DeMott has been hard at work signing all the collectible ornaments! The ornaments are now dispersed among several of our downtown businesses and are available at our Downtown Welcome Center.
