Here’s a look ahead at some of the key happenings you won’t want to miss:
Pink Friday – November 21
The perfect kickoff to holiday shopping. Downtown boutiques, coffee shops and eateries will feature special offers and festive finds—giving you the chance to gift locally with style.
Lights! Lights! Thanksgiving Night! – November 27, 6 pm
A classic holiday tradition that will get you in the spirit of the season. This evening transforms the courthouse square into a glowing canopy of lights. Pony rides, reindeer, Santa, stilt-walkers, and downtown shopping make this a must-visit moment. Downtown Moultrie
Small Business Saturday – November 29
Celebrate local this weekend by supporting the small businesses that make Downtown Moultrie unique. Every purchase, big or small, makes a difference.
Santa Stroll ‘N Roll 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk – Saturday, December 6, 4:30-7 pm
Break out the elf shoes and Santa hats, wear your most festive holiday attire while you stroll through downtown. The event begins and returns to Lazarus. Register and learn more about the Santa Stroll ‘N Roll event.
Festival of Lights Christmas Parade – Thursday, December 11, 6 pm
Join the largest holiday parade in South Georgia, featuring floats, bands, cheer, and the window-decorating contest around the historic square.
Second Saturday – December 13
The perfect event for last minute Christmas shopping. Merchants will have sidewalk sales, there will be inflatables on the square for kids to jump on, plus free mini golf for all. Then stay for the Country Christmas Concert sponsored by the Moultrie Masonic Lodge No. 381 in honor of their first Toys & Thunder Motorcycle Run. The concert will feature Billy Smith from 6:00 – 9:00 pm.
