The Commercial Building

This is what the Commercial Building looked like before a fire gutted it in 1934. It was the first brick office building built in Moultrie. The original building was destroyed by fire in 1918. The new commercial Building, the third to be erected on the same spot, was finished late in 1935. and looks very similar to the one that burned in 1934.
