Spring Fling & Backyard BBQ Festival

The next Spring Fling and Backyard BBQ Festival will be held April 17th & 18th, 2026.

Friday kick-off concert: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Spring is in the air, and soon the smell of BBQ will be too. Downtown Moultrie’s Spring Fling and Backyard BBQ Festival is held on the 3rd weekend in April. In 2024 more than 200 vendors set up around the square. Jewelry, lawn art, leather belts, food, and so much more was sold! With the Kiwanis Club Pancake Breakfast, Entertainment, Kids Activities, a BBQ Competition, and Arts & Crafts, you’ll be able to find something the whole family is sure to love!

2026 We are FULL on Food Vendors!

Basket weavers, toy makers, necklace creators, and woodcarvers all have at least one thing in common; they are creative. We are looking for talented homemade crafters to come show off what they have made at our 2025 Spring Fling and Backyard BBQ Festival.

Food booths and food trucks are staples at the Spring Fling and Backyard BBQ Festival.

Crowd expectancy: 15,000+

Cooking delicious Barbecue takes skills, passion, and of course, a good recipe. To be named the best, you’ll have to season to perfection and cook your heart out because only one can be named the best in each category.
